How does Social Media affect our offline life?

Have we become to reliant on online social interaction? Or am i just exagerating when i say that we have come to a crossroad in offline communication? Dont we need real face to face contact? Or can our online friendships actually replace what we have offline? That what i tried to find out! Its not a surprise that many people prefer online communication, its easier to say what you want when the person your talking to isn't right next to you. But do we need real contact, a pat on the back or the tone of the other persons voice? Thats some of the things online communication can't replace, and now i ask you are these things necessary? That is something i can't tell you. That is an answer that only you can find!

Who uses "social media"?

Social media is created for everyone, not just for the "young" people. Even though its true that the online social media today is mainly used by the age group from 12-34, it is also true that the sites that are mainly used by the young people, also support and are used by the adults.

Therefor i conclude that all online social media are created to support a wide audience, but are forced to create alot of content for the larger group of people using it (aka. the "young" people). This makes alot of sence since a bigger the audience means a bigger the income.

How are "Social Media" started?

Social media is what some would refer to as a "Consumer generated media". It is the fine balance between letting the users choose their own way of using it and pushing them down the right path.
This usually leads to a "Social Media" that is created to support the way the users use the "Social media". It can be everything from a blog changing their topic to a website changing a funktion.

How To Make A "Good" Blog

The Most important thing with making an "Online" social media (A blog, a social site etc.)
Is that you need something "unik".
That does not mean that you can't get inspiration from others.
It means that you need to take a chance to get something that people want to read
No one will want to read a new blog that dosen't have something new and interesting when something just like it is out there and has more viewers.
